My thoughts about 3 different weddings
I have already "lived through" 2 weddings myself.
With the first one I dreamed of romance.
With the second one I hoped for love.
After 20 years I worked out the true values of a relationship that are important to me:
affection, respect, trust, no distortion and lots and lots of tenderness.
Your own kids are wise, wiser that their parents.
Their wedding was full of romance, their life together is full of luck. They appreciate each other and their kids, they respect and trust each other, they are how they are and they are very affectionate with each other.

Gedanken über drei Hochzeiten
Ich habe bereits zwei eigene "erlebt".
Bei der ersten träumte ich vom Glück voller Romantik.
Bei der zweiten wünschte ich mir Liebe.
Nach zwanzig Jahren wußte ich für mich allein,
was einer wirklichen Beziehung ihren Wert gibt:
Zuneigung, Achtung, Vertrauen, kein Verbiegen und viel, viel Zärtlichkeit.
Eigene Kinder sind weise, weiser als ihre Eltern.
Ihre Hochzeit war voller Romantik, ihr gemeinsames Leben
ist voller Glück. Sie sind sich und ihren Kindern zugeneigt, achten und
vertrauen einander, sind wie sie sind und gehen miteinander sehr zärtlich um.
